Reading: The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities.

Hmm...I can't decide whether it's a good or bad idea to read a book with Slut in the title in public--expecially late night in coffee shops. For some reason, men seem to think it's an open invitation to proposition me. I suppose the answer is a factor of relativity--how much I'm attracted/interested in said man. Having said that, I object to any implication that the book I happen to be reading reflects my status as a sexually available female. If I were reading a victorian novel, no one (I hope) would assume I'm a prude. So why the opposite?

In any case, I have several issues with the Slut book. I have decided to wait until I finish reading it to see if the authors address any of my concerns. I know! I can't believe it myself--me withholding judgement?!! Inconceivable!
