Come and embrace me, she thought. Come and take me away from myself, away from my world, my reality, my distopia. Just for a short while. You don't have to take over my life, you don't have to commit. Just slide into me for a while and let me feel full of someone besides this person in my head. She thinks thoughts like this alot. Nearly everytime she thinks such things, she ends up scolding herself for her apparent lack of strident feminist values. She felt like she was all talk and no action. Maybe it was just that she hadn't sufficiently internalized those new values? Maybe it was just how sex would always make her feel?-- Grateful for the space to explore a sensation of "not just me alone."

I don't think there's anything inherently antifeminist about such thoughts. Some men think like that too - we just don't use the penetrative metaphor :)
