I want to find a different way to use metaphors of light and dark.

*rolls eyes* Everyone knows... light things are good; dark things are evil.
I don't see why it ever has to be any more complicated than that. If the good Lord hadn'a wanted us to be afraid of the dark He wouldn'a made so many nocturnal predators.
