Warm water floats on cold water.Cold water sinks in warm water, unless it gets cold enough to become ice, and then it floats.Water sinks in air, unless it becomes steam, and then it floats. Eventually, though, it becomes rain, and it falls.Water floats on lava, but not for very long, and then it floats in air.
